Georges Apparut (1877-1948) began his apprenticeship at the age of 14 in his father’s workshop, later working for Paul Blanchard, Georges Mougenot, Marc Laberte, and Joseph Charotte. A skilled copyist of antique instruments, he earned numerous honors and awards, including gold and silver medals at various international exhibitions.
