BRUNO BARBIERI, Bruno Born 1922 Legnano, died 1989 Mantua Italy. Pupil of A. Zatta. Influenced by G. Ornati. Established in Mantua from 1947. Gold medal at Cremona Biennale, 1971. Over 600 instruments credited to him, modelled on Scarampella and Balestrieri. Medals awarded at Cremona 1967 and 1971, and at Bagnocavallo 1971.

This violin is in excellent condition with a rich sound. The violin has a pro-forma certificate of authenticity from Blot Violins that will be included at the time of purchase.
